MakeMusic offers on-site, hands-on training. Beginning with an overview of SmartMusic, topics can cover all aspects of setup including installation, activation, and microphone check. Work in content areas is always customized to the specific teaching areas of the educators in attendance. Sending assignments from the SmartMusic Gradebook is covered in detail, from setup though assignment types, to managing, creating, scheduling, and reviewing student assignments.
Best of all, each training session is provided by a veteran music educator who has used SmartMusic in the classroom. The training is teacher-to-teacher, based on real experiences working with real students, parents, and administrators. A variety of training options are available including full-day and half-day, in-person sessions, as well as 90-minute interactive WebEx sessions.
