Download the current version of SmartMusic to update your computer or to try
SmartMusic before you subscribe.
- SmartMusic 9 Custom File Updater Some users of SmartMusic 9
have reported difficulties in opening Custom files they created in earlier
versions of SmartMusic. Custom files are files saved in SmartMusic which
retain your specified performance settings like tempo markings, I.A. settings,
repeats etc.
This problem has been fixed in SmartMusic 9.1. Users of SmartMusic 9.0 and
9.0.1 can use the SmartMusic Custom File Updater to process custom files
created in SmartMusic 8.5 (or earlier) so they can be recognized by SmartMusic
9.x.
Important Notes:

SmartMusic 9.1 users may need to run the custom file updater if they are
opening a custom file made by another user in SmartMusic 8.5 or older.

SmartMusic accompaniment files (SMP files), created in Finale, work perfectly
in SmartMusic 9.0 and 9.0.1 and do not need to be updated.

Any Custom files you’ve created in SmartMusic 9.0 or 9.0.1 will not need to be
updated.
