What should I order?
  1. You will need an educator subscription for your computer. This includes the ability to create and send assignments to students – $140/year
  2. Choose add-on subscriptions for your practice rooms – $36/year
  3. Pick your accessories. (click on each accessory for a description)

How about my students?
As an educator subscriber, you’ll want to get discounted SmartMusic subscriptions for your students to use at home – only $36/year. You can pay for the subscriptions or have your students buy them directly through smartmusic.com.
How about my colleagues?
Each educator who wants to use SmartMusic should have their own subscription and their own account. This gives them access to the SmartMusic gradebook feature.
Next Steps

Order online

  • Place your order online and pay with a credit card.
  • Get your PO and place your order online. Then fax your PO to us to complete your order.

OR

Order by Fax – Download our order form, fill it out, and submit the order form to your purchasing office with your P.O. request. Then your purchasing office can fax us the P.O. and order form at 952-937-9760. (Please remember to include the order form – it has additional information like your e-mail address that we need to process your order.)

After we receive your P.O., we will ship your order. Just install and launch SmartMusic, and then activate your subscription with your e-mail address and password.

Renewal Information
SmartMusic subscriptions start when your order is processed. If you fax in the order form and a P.O. this will usually be within 1 business day.

Educator subscriptions run for a year and then automatically renew until you decide to cancel them. We will e-mail and mail you reminder notices as your renewal date approaches and then send an invoice on your renewal date. To facilitate payment, you should obtain a P.O. before your renewal date and contact us with the number so that it can be printed on your invoice.

Student subscriptions will not renew automatically. We will remind you to choose a new code for your students when your current student subscriptions are about to end.

Multiple-year subscription options
  • Multiple-year subscriptions – SmartMusic subscriptions default to 1 year, but you can subscribe for up to 4 years at a time. Received a grant? Don’t want the hassle of getting a P.O. each year for renewals? Just order online to see your pro-rated price for a 2-, 3-, or 4-year subscription.
  • Pick your renewal date – Ordering in March but you’d like to renew when school starts? No problem. Just order online to pick your end date and see your pro-rated price.

Note: Multiple-year subscriptions or different end-dates cannot be ordered with our downloadable order form. To change the default end-date, order online (and click on the “Edit cart” link to adjust your end date,) or call us at 866-240-4041.

More Ordering Tips
  • SmartMusic is available as a download. The free SmartMusic DVD offers a physical backup and a means to install the SmartMusic program and the method books without an Internet connection. A single DVD can be used to install SmartMusic on multiple computers.
  • There is no need to order additional CDs for your students because free CDs are automatically added to your order when you pay for your student subscriptions. (A free CD will also be included with each student's order if you decide to have them purchase direct.)
